Blade Runner is a 1982 science fiction film directed by Ridley Scott. It is based on the novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? by Philip K. Dick.
In the novel number9dream, reference is made to the film by attorney Akiko Katō, in a sequence early in the novel imagined by Eiji Miyake: "A bioborg dummy! A replicant! You never watched Bladerunner?"
Note: In the novel, Blade Runner is incorrectly spelled Bladerunner.
